May Days!

For poor Kirby, May started off a bit rough!
The cone of shame post-surgery.

It was a party filled kind of a day for Allie!
First, a pool party for her friend, Wade.
Followed by a very cool party at a stable in town for her friend, Reese.

He's still my baby!

Last Day of 1st grade!
Last day of 5th grade &
last day at Hill Elementary!

Our graduate!

Lauren Weinberg was Jake's kindergarten teacher. She left Hill a few years later but came back for graduation! It was priceless watching the kids who were in her class see her!
 Pre-K to 5th-grade graduation!
The following weekend, we headed to Dallas for Memorial Day with the cuzzies.

After a great weekend with the Vivier's and Noonie & Papa, Alex took us to the airport where we headed to Oregon to see Mimi & Bubba.
Flying into Portland
Meet Henry Henry. He lives at Bubba's and he's now a bit of a celebrity after posing him and posting his adventures around Eugene.

Mimi gifted Jake and Allie with an experience from my childhood and anyone who grew up in Eugene...hours and hours searching for the perfect items at Hiron's!

Part of our visit was to help my dad get ready to move to a new place that is beautiful and feels like being on vacation.
The Eugene Hotel Duck will be missed.

We headed back to Austin and got stuck in some bad weather. They diverted us to Oklahoma City where just about all the restaurants in the airport we're closed. When we finally got back on the plane, the pilot had ordered pizza for us. Well done, Southwest Airlines!

Also, during our stop in OKC, Jake ran into a basketball player, Enes Kaner, and stopped to talk to him and to take a picture.
It was a long day!

Made a little more fun by Snapchat filters!
We were so happy to be home but it was a great trip and a great month!
