October Love!

October started in the best way, celebrating our favorite girl!

Saturday at the Tavern!

We took a rare week of no soccer to go up to visit the Viviers and especially to see Josh, #8 play football for Plano West High School! This was a true example of "Friday Night Lights" Texas style.
Jake was so proud to be wearing a Plano West t-shirt!

Jake was beaming!
Saturday afternoon Alex, Jake and I went into Dallas to see our friend Jason & Leigh Anne and Christian for the Georgia game. Meanwhile, Allie was thrilled to spend the afternoon with Brenna, Pippi and Talia.

Saturday night we got to witness this awesomeness!

Sunday morning before we left we had a visit from Juliet and got all these cutie cousins together!

I had an afternoon off so I came to see Allie in action at Soccer Shots! While I was a huge distraction to the class, I loved every second watching her in action!

Allie LOVES ballet and lives for her Monday class!
The cuteness factor is almost too much!

Even though he wouldn't trade in athletic clothes even for one day for school pictures, Jake's picture is fantastic.
What a good looking kid!

At school Allie and the Giraffes have been busy!

Our good friend Clara, aka Penelope's mom, came to talk about being an architect. Even though she looks seriously spaced out here, Allie talked about it for days!

They did a whole unit on building. They did a group project to build houses and then had a field trip Home Depot where they built bird houses!

Ready for the field trip and an exciting ride on the school bus!

Saturday early morning I headed to Tuscon for Emily & Joe's wedding. We resort was lovely and the wedding was lovely but it was just wonderful to spend some time with my Sacks (Schwartz, Siegel and Schaffel) cousins! Wow we like the letter S!

I especially loved getting some time to be with Karen and Elliot who are some of my most favorites!

The lovely bride and her sweet parents!

Living in DC, Sarah was like another little sister to me and I loved getting to spend some time with her and her sweet boyfriend.

With maid of honor and cousin Stephanie!

Congratulation Mr.& Mrs. Rizzo!

Meanwhile I got a few shots from Daddy while I was gone and they had a good time. Their weekend started with Jake scoring 4 out of 5 of his teams goal for a soccer win! They hung outside and had a great time with daddy.

I was happy to get home Sunday afternoon to these little monkey people! They're thumbs up even after getting our flu shots! I couldn't believe it but there were no tears from any of us...myself included!

Jake had to decorate a pumpkin as a favorite literary character. I think we made a pretty good Harry Potter!

On Halloween morning we celebrated Mila's birthday at Chuck E. Cheese after they had to postpone the party twice due to rain. Allie LOVED it and she posed with the mouse like he was a superstar!

Allie really loved this horse game/ride! I was nervous we were going to have to buy one for our living room!

After a good nap for Allie and football for the rest of us we were on to the main event for Halloween trick-or-treating. We took some pictures together and then Jake & Alex headed out to hang with his buddy Noah and Allie, Bubba and I headed up to Penelope's.

Love our football player and Batgirl!

Batgirl and Superman Charlie

We picked up some friends trick-or-treating along the way!

Jake with his buddy Noah and his sister and dad!

October was a great month celebrating our baby and now on to my other favorite month to celebrate our big boy!
