2025 - In the Blink of an Eye!

Leaving 2024 in the rearview mirror and looking forward to 2025.
Celebrating Noah's Bar Mitzvah with the Kass Family!
We celebrated Alex's 50th birthday with a great party with favorite friends!

One more birthday celebration!
Loving (or torturing) Kirby!

Birthday brunch with Dorry.
Best Friend Walks

Kirby is all in on steak night!
Split spring break - Boys to Colorado and the Girls to Galveston.

The boys went to Colorado so Jake could ski and visit University of Colorado at Boulder.
Our friend Christian came to ski!

Touring University of Colorado - Boulder

Mandatory Bucky's stop on the way to Galveston!

Doing a little work while on vacation isn't as bad when looking at the water.

A little birdie told me that BFF Kate and her family might also be in Galveston for Spring Break so it was an easy choice to make!
We all met up for lunch and then headed to the Pleasure Pier for the afternoon.
We had Kate stay with us one night and then hung at the pool and Allie spent time at their house and at the beach with Kate and her family. So fun!
While Allie & Kate had breakfast at the hotel, I went for a walk on the beach.

Handstands, pool time and too much sun!

Yikes!

Visiting Texas A&M with Jake!

Allie as the cutest dictator, Creon, in the Spring play, Antigone!

The play was great and Allie was incredible. It was so good that people traveled from out of state to see it. Specifically, Mimi and her friends, Bonnie & Janet. Mimi stayed a few extra days to hang out.

In Houston for Mia's bat mitzvah, a CYJ friend. Bonus for being in H-town, meeting baby cousin Levi!

Back to Houston a few weekends later, this time for Sylvie's Bat Mitzvah.

While Allie was at services, I got a wonderful pedicure.
Noa came to get ready with Allie.

I got to take Allie to her first concert, to see Megan Moroney. We listened to her everyday going and coming home from school.

First day/Last day
Junior and 7th grade

I secretly love packing for camp! I've pretty much perfected my system and it feels like such a great accomplishment! Mostly, I'm helping them get to their happy places!

One more family dinner before heading off to camp and Colorado!

Celebrating Father's Day!
After Father's Day brunch, we headed to drop Allie at her happy place, Camp Young Judaea Texas!
It's been a few years since we've been able to go back inside the bunks, post-covid.

A few favorite shots of Allie at camp.

This was Jake's last summer as a camper/CIT. When I saw this picture of him this year, I instantly thought of the picture of little Jake from his first year in 2017.
A few favorite shots of Jake at camp.

Counselor-mode activated

One more drop-off for Kirby at Dorry's before we go to our own "camp" in Colorado.

We love our time in Colorado, and this year was no different.

Morning Walk
Evening Walk
Happy Birthday to me! Nothing better than a filthy dirty martini and Main Street in Breck!
Hello, Mr. Moose.

We got to spend time with Mike & Debbie Clark at their beautiful place close to Breck. Mike was one of my favorite TAAEF Presidents and when I grow up, I want to be Debbie Clark!

Our girl is home. Always such mixed emotions. We're so happy to see her but wish she could have a few more weeks at camp.
And now they're both home!
Kirby loves Shabbat!

Sometimes when you clean your closet, it means you have to try on your bat mitzvah party dress.
Kirby repping some 6 Points swag and literally the longest he's ever had a hat on.
Jake had shoulder surgery in for a torn labrem. He was a trooper and a very good patient.
Taking our marriage out for its first legal drink. Happy 21 to us!
Back to school!
Senior & 8th grade year!

Jake and Alex went to check out UNLV after meeting one of the basketball coaches who invited Jake to come and visit (not to play ball but for sports management purposes).

We had a long weekend and took advantage of a few days off with a quick trip to Mexico!

Everyone was SO excited about a photoshoot but I'm happy to have capture this moment.

One last taste of Mexico before we leave!

OMG!
Trip to Athens!

The cutest Wild Kratt's ever! Happy Halloween!

Happy 18th Birthday
Jake!
We love you so much and are so proud of you always!

For the Fall play, the Murchison theater program selected "Lost Girl" all about what happened when Wendy came back from Neverland. Allie played Nina, an aspiring reporter!

Sometimes when you clean out the storage space under the stairs, it means you have to try on your wedding dress.

We had early thanksgiving with Dorry and Uncle Phillip!

Then we went up to Dallas for 2nd Thanksgiving

Family tradition of playing Cards Against Humanity
Allie was finally old enough to be invited to play!

Fun was had by all.

No clue but he's so cute!

Happy Hanukkah

Twins!

Alex surprised me & Jake with tickets to the first ever playoff game at Autzen Stadium. It was a completely unexpected trip and it was so fun to have time with Jake at the game and on campus. It was especially meaningful as the night before we flew to Eugene, Jake was accepted to the UO!

Happy Hannukah and Happy New Year!
