July Fun!

We had a great start to July celebrating the 4th with the Northwest Hills Annual Parade. We met up with Allie's friends Penelope and Mila for a little parade fun.

The girls loved the rabbits that were part of the parade and were super excited that they stopped for them to pet them.

Penelope & Allie pose off!

After the parade, while Allie slept, Bubba and I went to see Rio 2 with the best movie date ever!

Later that afternoon we went to Mike & Molly's (aka BFF Hailey's parents) for a BBQ and some bestie time with Hailey!

We had breakfast with Bubba before he left to escape the heat of Texas for the summer, his trip to China and a glorious month at the Oregon Coast (super jealous of that)!

After a few months in the tiny toddler bed Allie has graduated to what she calls "a really, really big girl bed"! She came home to her bed all made and she could not have been more excited.

While Jake was at a birthday party we headed over to Allie's "boyfriend" Josh's house for some soapy fun.

Who knew shaving cream was so much fun!

More good, clean fun!

The Reimer's came over Saturday night for a long-overdue get together and Jake & Jacob ended up having a sleepover. They had a great time.

Sunday was mommy/daughter and daddy/son day. Jake and Alex headed to Main Event and Jake did awesome on the rock wall. Allie and I opted for some much less active fun with Mollie and Hailey getting our toes painted!

Jake got into World Cup and was rooting for Argentina and Messi to win! Daddy couldn't resist getting him a jersey!

Allie's class had green day! It's a good thing mama's a Duck so she had no problem getting dressed!

We've had a few starts and stops with potty training but we have finally conquered the potty and looking like the diva she is doing it!!! Allie has been wearing underwear to school for the last week and she's so proud of herself as are we!

At the park for some BFF time!

And while we were at the park, Jake and Daddy went out and got snow-cones!

I just got a few pictures from the JCC summer camp. He's done sports camp, soccer camp and Camp Shalom. He's clearly having fun!

This was technically on August 1 but Jake's end of summer camp "bandstand" was too cute to not share now. All the different groups did performances. Jake's group did Bye, Bye Bye by N'Sync. He told me he was the "Justin Timber" of the group. Love this boy!

With his friends and counselors at the Shabbat sing-along. I think he's a camp kid!

See you in August!
