Fast and Fun February

February was short but fun and fast!

Daddy/Daughter date night for D'Capella. D'Capella is a Disney Accapella group and the concert was a Hanukkah present.

Soccer tournament in was up next Houston! It was a father/son kind of weekend with mostly all the boys there with the dads. They went 3-0 and played great!

Meanwhile, in Austin, crazy things were happening in Barbieland.

Jake and friends at the Murchison Middle School info night.  I could swear they just started Kindergarten! They'll do just fine at MMS!

 Mommy + Jake dinner afterward!
I love him so much!
My turn to read to Allie's class!

Alex went to Allie's Valentine's Day Party. I was away at a work conference, evident by her outfit!
 Celebrating Dorry's birthday!
 More soccer!

We brought Kirby to the game and he loved it. He loved watching Jake play and he made a good footrest!

Book Character Dress-up Day!
Meet Hermione Granger!
I was very happy that I had kept the Harry Potter robes from when Jake used them!
Have a magical month!

January Fun!

After a fun New Year's Eve with friends at our house, we ventured out and found a dog park and  Kirby loves getting to run and play!
Getting some training in! Thanks, Dorry, Zayde and Uncle Phillip for the Dribble Up ball.
More dog park time!

While we were hanging out with Kirby, Alex and Jake were at the Houston Texans playoff game!

Trying to convince me to adopt a guinea pig.
NOT happening!
Daddy got Kirby a new toy!
We were happy to host Jillian and families interested in 6 Points!
Science project time! Jake's project was all about which soda is worst for your teeth.
Spoiler alert: All of them are bad but Sunkist and Coke were the worst of all of them.

Out for a walk!
Guest reader!

Just crying uncontrollably while making a yearbook ad/tribute to Jake for
his graduation (in May) from Hill!
A special meet-up with our favorite, Ms. Leslie!

Later that weekend, Allie and I were excited to spend a day and night at Camp Young Judaea Texas! She loved it!

Amazing sunset at camp!
Breakfast time!
The essence of camp!

She was sold and loved our night at camp! Now she's looking forward to Spring Camp in March and then the summer!
Celebrating Ms. Cotton's birthday!
Kirby chatting with the receptionist at the Vet.
If only he could pay the bill!
Allie is trying out basketball! She not necessarily a natural but I love that she's trying something new!

We didn't really get any pictures but one of the best thing about January is that we get to celebrate Alex's birthday! We celebrated with our traditional hibachi dinner! We love you, Alex!
