We started September with our annual Bestie Birthday Weekend with Hailey's pool party and Penelope's cupcake party!
Another annual tradition over the Labor Day weekend, Alex & Jake's father-son fantasy football draft. That meant that Allie and I started our girls day with pedicures!
That Monday we attended "Daviators & Donuts" a tradition that Allie's teacher (Ms. Davis) has had for a few years as a way for the families to meet at the start of the year. She's amazing and we're lucky to be in her class!

This blog could also have been called Soccer September with Jake having a zillion games in San Antonio and the start of the Pink Popsicles.
First game with the River City Rangers!
Sometimes soccer requires a lot of stuff.
Allie lends a hand!
So proud of Jake! He decided to run for student council so we did a little photo shoot for his poster! He didn't win, (he was runner-up in the votes) but he was cool with it and said he's excited to try again next year!
Allie's first Sock Hop at Hill!
Look who we ran into! Eli!
With Dash!
Jake didn't even notice the Sock Hop, he just wanted to play football!
Alex had his first lunch of the year at Hill with our newest Dillo! She loved it!
Pink Popsicles and Coach Daddy are back for one more season!
Pink Popsicles and Coach Daddy are back for one more season!
This year the Popsicles are a nice mix of friends from preschool and new Hill friends!
Our little soccer players!
Still working from home while my office is being remodeled. It's been too hot to really working in the back but every now and then, it's a treat. Looking forward (finally) to Fall.
Props to Ms. Davis. This girl is learning to read!
I got to have lunch with the almost birthday girl and her BFF, Emily. I had lunch with Jake too but we forgot to take pictures!
