June Fun!

Summer in Texas means pool time!
Aria's birthday with our friends Kim and Livy!
Pool party number #2 for the weekend Kindergarten girls swim party!
We were excited to visit Eugene to see Mimi "graduate" from preschool, see Bubba, family and friends and especially one small Kleban.
We came straight from the airport to dinner with the family! So exciting to have all my people in one place!
Very excited and happy to have my Grandma aka "Great" with us in Eugene too!
Dillon LOVES his big cousins and they love him right back!
Crazy Uncle Warren!
So happy that Evan, Mark & Kiddos came down to see us!

Allie loved hanging out with these two! Lola is the daughter of my sister's BFF Rachael and Jackson is the grandson of good family friends.
Hanging with Mimi!
Dillon-wrangling!
Mimi has worked at Temple Beth Israel Preschool (with one small break) since we moved to Eugene. She has made it a school of excellence and has taught kids who are now students in the school. Anyone who had her as a teacher was lucky!
Not pictured: Rachel and I give an excellent speech about our mom!

After a few days of family camp led by Auntie Rachel, Mimi and Bubba while I was at a work conference in San Diego, we headed back to Austin!
Hanging out with our best guy the night before leaving for camp!
Bags are packed!
She's sad he's off to camp!
Welcome to 6 Points!
In his dorm!
With camp director, Danny!
Have fun, Jake!
The week after Jake left, Allie did her first week with KidsActing Studio!

Beauty & the Beast with Allie playing a narrator role and one of the townspeople.

That weekend we headed to San Antonio for a quick vacation at the JW Marriott Resort with friends!
With all the mamas!
At a magic show!
The kids all got tattoos and so did the mamas!
That night we dropped the kids at the Kids Club and headed to a fantastic dinner with an unexpected birthday treat!
Jessica, our selfie queen, captured this great photo of the group. Such a fun weekend!
Allie started back at the JCC for Camp Shalom. We were happy to walk in to see forever friends Mila and Penelope!
I really didn't want to do anything for my birthday this year but Alex arranged a very small gathering with my favorites!

Not nearly enough pictures this year but love seeing Jake loving camp!

We closed out June celebrating our good friend Ash's (Captain Ash) birthday with a day on Lake Travis! So much fun!

Happy June!

Magical May!

May was a whirlwind!

The TAA Board President gave all the staff the new "Alexa Show" as an end of year gift and the kids especially love it!
Love it when a box shows up from Bubba!
A little impromptu dinner out with Laura & Ella and our friend Kam and her girls!
Cinco De Derby Party! I'll be wearing this hat all summer!

Sunday night dinner with the "Fam"
Ready for a special day at school with the Daviators' Mother's Day Tea!
Mother's Day Tea with a fancy hat party!

Special end-of-the-year appreciation for Ms. Davis. Such a wonderful teacher and class!

With her Lavender Butterfly soccer girls!

Last game of the season! Allie (sort of) found her home as goalie!

Almost all the butterflies!

At the team party. Giving out a trophy to Coach Daddy's favorite player!
So sweet!
Celebrating Mother's Day with Dorry!
I was excited to join the Daviators for their last field trip of the year, to the Dinosaur Park.

Jake grudgingly came along to Allie's friend Emily's birthday party mostly because he knows her brother (and I was making him) but he may have the most fun of anyone!
Our most favorite Pre-K teacher, Ms. Leslie, is moving to California to be closer to her family and grandkids. Being in her class and a Mustang was truly something special and I think that Allie will always remember her!

Ms. Massingil is one of Jake's favorite teacher and while we're so happy for her and her family at the arrival of Baby Aimee, we sure missed her the last three months of the year! We had a baby shower all planned and then Aimee decided to arrive early. So we enjoyed a "sip and see" with Ms. Massingil.

Back to Hill the next day for Chicken Poop Bingo with Allie and the Daviators!

Random but so much fun, especially with this girl!
Parent get-away to San Francisco!
Thank you to Dorry, Zayde and Uncle Phillip for having Jake & Allie for the weekend.

We got home just in time to let Allie host Pre-K bestie Layla for a sleepover. Layla and her family moved to Syracuse last summer and they've stayed in touch! When they came for a visit to Austin we knew they had to get together!

Last lunch dates of the year!

Fastest. Year. Ever.

Bye Dash! Have a great summer!
