Our July started in Montreal with our little adventurer, Allie. Check out more about our trip here.
In addition to the beauty of Montreal and the fun of taking a trip with just Allie, one of the highlights was getting to Facetime and talk to Jake while he was in between sessions while he was at Dory and Zayde's and with Uncle Philip. They had a great time and we were so happy to see him even just virtually.
Lots of swimming lessons and time at the pool.
Jake fix: more of 2nd Session at Six Points
The Tel Aviv Tigers at Shabbat
See the future counseor in the picture below?
Swimming, volleyball and Rugby for electives!
Since my office is being remodled, we've been looking for different ways to "bond" as a staff. We headed out to my co-worker, Jennifer's ranch.

Since my office is being remodled, we've been looking for different ways to "bond" as a staff. We headed out to my co-worker, Jennifer's ranch.

I tried to dress for the part.
I even tried skeet shooting although not very successfully!
Her tooth had been wiggly for weeks!
Our last outing with just Allie before Jake came back from camp, Despicable Me 3.
After pedicures with our friends Clara and Penelope, Clara ran in the house with me to look at something and we came back to this! Fast forward 10 years! Oy!
Waiting for their big brothers and big sister to come home.
And he's back!
JCC Camp Color War!
They were both on the blue team.
My summer board meeting was held in Corpus Christi and we had been wanting a beach weekend with the kids so on Friday Alex and the kiddos drove down to meet me. Not a bad view!
Our first stop was the Texas State Aquarium! It was really well done and really fun. The highlights were the dolphins, touching so much sealife, especially the jellyfish and the delux splash pad.
In addition to the expected sea life, they also had a random variety of other animals including the most amazing Sloth who climbed right over us!
Allie loved the Sloth so much she brought one home!
At the Splash Pad
We were right at the beach so why not take a dip, in our clothes! Can you spot Jake?
The next morning we headed back to the beach!
Alex rented a wave runner and he and Jake had the best time on it. Allie, not so much!
After the beach, we headed to the U.S.S. Lexington! The Lexington was in service beginning with World War II and was in use until the 80s. In 1992, it came to Corpus Christi and is an amazing tribute to those who served and the amazing Lexington.
Put those two in the brig!
She'd make a mean gunner!
On our last night, we headed to the pool and met up with my friend Kelley, who serves on my board, and her kiddos.
Drinks for the grown-ups, throwing the football around in the pool and then basketball for Jake and Ethan and then there was Allie and Elin who were instant BFFs. Kelley and I were pregnant at the same time and I can't believe this was the first time they met. They were 2 peas in a pod and so cute to watch!
It was a great end to July!
See you in August.
