Allie turns 5!

I blinked and my baby turned 5!
Wasn't she was just born?!

She is the most amazing little girl and the most perfect person to complete our family! She is smart, sassy, sweet, loving, fiesty, compassionate and a total drama queen all rolled up into a completely adorable package.

We love our Allie!

I must admit, while it is a lot of work, I loved planning this party for her and involving her in some of the special touches and keeping one very big surprise from her!

Sticking with our jewlery party favor theme: Magic Lamp bracelets
Then the princesses started arriving!

And then there was a knock on the door. Jake ran to get Allie to come and greet one more very special guest!

Jasmine had them all mesmerized as they sat on their Magic Carpets! She sand, did magic tricks and they LOVED her!

This was not surprising at all!
I am not a fan of facepaint but her designs were cute, small and didn't end up on any of my furniture. I might have had something to do with the magic lollipops but it was the most amazingly quiet and organized line I've ever seen.

Dance party with Jasmine!

Happy Birthday Allie!

Checking out Jasmine's outfit, yes, that's it!

One more hug before Jasmine leaves to go
back to Agrabah!
Opening presents with an experienced helper!
    Thank you, Uncle Phillip!
My Princess collection is almost complete!
This picture appropriately says it all!
Tired but happy Princess.

And what does a 5 year old eat for breakfast the morning after her birthday? Let her eat cake!!!

We love you, Allie!

Super September

September found us getting used to being back at school.
3rd grade and pre-K continue to be great so far!

Allie is particularly loving being a Mustang and her teachers are fantastic. Their first unit was on volcanos and she'll talk your ear off about magma, lava, and active and dormant volcanos!

Watching it explode!

Celebrating Penny's birthday at Chuck E. Cheese!
Playing video games with Will

Blurry but cake with the birthday girl and Millie!

I can't figure out why but they love Chuck E. Cheese!

Then we went to celebrate Allie's other BFF's birthday! We couldn't make it to her big party so we joined the family party and celebrated Hailey turning 5!

Of course BFF's have matching cover-ups!

Soccer Saturday & Sunday for Jake!

After some unexpected pool time at Penelope's, Allie and I picked up Mila and met Penny and Clara out for pedicures. The nail shop didn't know what hit them!

And then naturally we had to have some frozen yogurt.

Later that night, Allie and I joined in some Sunday funday dinner at Waterloo. Big playground for the kids and drinks for the grown-ups!

A little obsessed with Google Photo. It does all kinds of cool things with your pictures.
These three!

The next Friday night, we met the Riemer Family for dinner out. Allie has always loved Max but now that they're actually friends!

Allie's drawing and writing skills have practically changed overnight! It's awesome!

I got to watch Jake in action during his Sunday game and he scored the final goal of the game! It was awesome!

Allie was the Shabbat Helper in her class and I was invited to come see her in action. It's a big and busy job, but Allie did great!
Her Shabbat Placemat
Collecting Tzedakah from Penny
Carrying the Torah and leading the Shabbat parade.
Leading the blessings.
Blowing out the candles...saftey first!
Handing out the Challah.
Heading out to the annual Sock hop at Hill!

Once we got to Hill, Jake was off. Lots of football!
